Až neskutečný dojem z ostrova, jehož název v překladu znamená „krásný“ (původně však pochází ze jména Isabella) a kterému vévodí barokní Borromejský palác, dotváří terasovité zahrady se záhony pěnišníků, špalíry citrusů, zdmi v růžích doslova obalených a bílými pávy s vějíři per stále pyšně rozevřenými. Dominantou zahrady je pak poněkud fantasmagoricky vyhlížející pyramida, zakončená sochou jednorožce, na kterém jede Láska. Hlavní otevírací doba je od poloviny března do poloviny října, od 9 do 17.30 hodin, vstupné je placené.

The effect is completed mainly by terraced gardens with beds of rhododendrons, citrus espaliers, walls covered with roses and white peacocks with feather fans never closed. A view point of the garden is a somewhat fantasmagoric looking pyramid with a statue of unicorn ridden by Love. Main opening days are from the middle of March till the middle of October, from 9.00 a.m. till 17.30 p.m. There are entrance fees.
