Spanish Shawl brings to the group of potted plants an interesting contrast with its red-brown tinted foliage. The habitus is created by combination of straight and creeping footstalks that we can pinch for a more compact growth. Plant tolerates as sun as semi-shade and if we wanted using fertilizers to support flowering we should apply them in low concetration and nitrogen levels. Nevertheless the main factor for appearing purplish-pink flowerets are lower temperatures between 16 and 20 °C.
